We are excited to introduce Mr. Chris Casey as our new 8th Grade Social Studies and 7th Grade Science teacher! Mr. Casey brings a wealth of experience to our school, with 7 years as a Middle School Science teacher at Jefferson R-7.
He holds a Bachelor's in Education from UMSL (certified in Social Studies and Science), a Master's in Education and an Ed. Specialist degree from MOBAP, showcasing his dedication to his profession and commitment to continuous learning.
After moving to Hillsboro in December of 2023, Mr. Casey recognized what a great community this is. Mr. Casey shared, "I am excited to take on a new challenge and meet new people at Hillsboro Junior High. I have heard a lot of great things about this building and the surrounding community and I am eager to experience those things myself." We are confident that his enthusiasm and expertise will greatly benefit our students and staff.
Outside of school, Mr. Casey enjoys spending time with his family—his wife Macy and their two children, Liam and Ollie.
