We threw the idea out to adopt a family in lieu of having a holiday luncheon this year, and the HJH staff delivered big time! The Jr. High fulfilled the wish lists of all five children and even bought a few gifts for mom and dad! We are so proud of our staff!

RE: New guidance from Gov. Parsons November 12, 2020 Today, Governor Parson, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, and the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education announced new guidance for schools regarding close contacts and quarantines. - https://governor.mo.gov/press-releases/archive/governor-parson-announces-changes-states-k-12-school-quarantine-guidance - We are communicating with the Jefferson County Health Department to get further clarification on the new guidance. The message is clear that masks are considered an essential mitigation strategy. This new guidance could help reduce the number of quarantines as staff and students are required to wear masks in school when social distancing is not possible. Yet, it won’t help with close contacts that occur outside of school that might lead to quarantines. Respectfully, Dr. Jon Isaacson Superintendent
