New This Year: Transportation App for Parents
Hillsboro R3 now uses Traversa by Tyler Technologies, for our bus routing system.
Please be reminded, bus times are approximate and we ask that your student(s) are at their bus stop five minutes prior to the scheduled time for pick-up. Please have your student in a visible spot waiting for the bus driver.
PM drop-off times could be affected the first week of school.
Traversa offers a free app for parents/guardians to inform parents of bus route times. Parents can sign-up for notifications to automatically alerted about changes in your student's bus status, in case there are delays. Push notifications mean you don't have to worry about checking the app.

My Ride K-12 will be where late bus notifications and any changes to a bus or route will be sent, so it is very important that parents choose to receive notifications when they create their My Ride K-12 account.

*At this time, our My Ride K-12 district account settings do not include real-time school bus arrival and departure times via GPS.
Sign Up for a My Ride K-12 Account
After the app installation is complete, open My Ride K-12
It is very important that parents allow notifications when setting up their My Ride K-12
First time users must register an account with the app. Tap Sign Up.
To register, enter email address, your name (given name is your first name/family name is your last name), and create a password accoring to the rules displayed.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email. Tap on the link in your email to confirm your registration through My Ride K-12
Log in to the app using your email address and password (it may kick you out and you may need to click out of the app and restart it)
When prompted to select a district, search for Hillsboro R3. Tap the search result to select it and then tap the Select button.
Add a student to your account by tapping the Add Student button and following the prompts given. You will need the student number (ex: 02045120 - found in your Parent Portal) Repeat this step to add any additional students.
